Terrebonne Insurance Agency was founded in the 1950s and grew from an auto and homeowners' agency into a multifaceted independent broker, attributed to the business expertise of the late Frederick D. Thibodeaux.
In 1960 Fred bought out the investors and became sole owner-operator. Kelly joined in 1977; Kitty joined in 1998. The agency expanded into marine, oil & energy, and construction while remaining family-owned.
On September 16, 2019 we opened our renovated building at 210 Mystic Blvd., Houma, LA 70360, celebrating more than 60 years serving the community.
